- What shoe size should I order? If I normally wear a size 10, will a size 10 Nucleus work for me?
The Nucleus is designed to be a true fit. This means if you wear a size 10 shoe, you should pick a size 10 Nucleus. Note: shoe sizes are in standard US men sizes. Please refer to a conversion table if you are not sure of your shoe size.
- How durable is the Nucleus?
While we cannot predict how long the shoes will last (everyone has their own style and intensity of play), we designed the Nucleus to made of canvas, and reinforced in the areas that wear the fastest. While this does not make the Nucleus bullet proof, it helps prolong the lifespan of your shoes.
- Does the sole have enough traction?
Yes. The sole has three pivot points, shock absorbing circles, and deep treaded grooves for lateral movement. For more details on the sole, check out our features page.
- Do I have to use same lacing style that is shown on the site pictures?
No. The Nucleus was designed with many lacing styles in mind. You can use your own lacing style or even replace the places with your own for further customization of the shoes.
- How much does the Nucleus weigh?
Due to the amount of material used, the weight will vary according to the shoe size you order. As a reference, a size 10 Nucleus weighs aproximately 3.2oz (90.71g).
- Is there canvas under the mesh stall zones?
No. There is no canvas under the mesh. You should be able to stall and "feel" the bag without further modifications to the shoes.
- Is there any leather on the shoes?
No. There is no leather on the Nucleus.
- Will I be able to use my own insoles with the Nucleus?
While the Nucleus comes with an insole, some players may want to use their own insoles. You can replace the insole with one that works best for your needs.

The photos on the web site were taken from an earlier prototype model. While the final product will be close to the pictures, we have found and corrected this issue. New pictures will be posted in the near future.
